Our Roots
It’s summer 2018. I’m sitting at my desk at work, looking out the window longing to enjoy the 75-degree, sunny day. “Oh, I should water my plants,” I think to myself. I look into my pots and see the clipping that I took from my co-worker's jade was growing nicely. My Haworthia plant is growing weird little feeler-like shoots that will eventually flower and bring some more life into the office. I feel peaceful and happy. I feel a sense of accomplishment; I’m helping these plants to thrive! I am one with nature! Oh yeah, I have to finish writing this report. Why can’t I just play with my plants all day?
